Take deposits online with PayFast
Connect your own PayFast account and guests can pay a deposit or the full amount from their booking link. The money goes straight to you.

Connect your PayFast account
In Settings, Online payments: add your PayFast Merchant ID, key and passphrase, choose your deposit percentage and tick Accept online payments.

Confirm the booking and copy the guest link
Open a confirmed booking and click Copy guest link. Send it to your guest by email or WhatsApp.

Your guest pays the deposit
The link shows their booking and a Pay deposit button. They pay securely on PayFast.

The payment is recorded for you
PayFast confirms the payment to OpDesk. Amount paid updates on the booking and the guest can pay the balance from the same link.
